Good software makes for great business.
We believe that good quality software is a process. It’s made by people who adhere to strict practices about the kind of code they choose to put in production.
Qiwi Trails uses a software development method for all of our projects called “Lean”. This is an adapted version of the Toyota Production System, and we believe it makes development fast and accurate. With a focus on information gathering, we tend to spend more time talking about the software than we do developing it. That allows us to break each piece of the software into small, manageable parts that can be worked on by multiple developers at the same time. Once we’ve done that to the entire project, we can code quickly and efficiently. This also allows us to develop a blueprint/framework that we can use to ensure that the software is flexible and extensible.
Our web platform is both Linux and Windows based. We are familiar with both web and desktop development, focusing primarily on the following languages:
We’ve got experience with several libraries for both Desktop and Web development, and with several different technologies, such as:
In addition to those, we are looking at incorporating other development technologies into our portfolio to better serve our customers, including:
We are very interested in native applications being developed for Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android. All of our newer web applications are designed to be mobile friendly. We test them repeatedly on multiple devices so that we can ensure usability to all customers.
Please contact us if you have software that you need developed. We’d be happy to get started on a software design document with you, and provide you with a rough quote on what we think it would cost to develop. Because Custom Software can be quite expensive in terms of time and money, we don’t like to waste our time or your money recreating the wheel. Good software requires integrity, and we believe that letting you know all of your options is the best way to make great software.
